About Me

Hey there! I'm Raf. That's me in the photo, checking out a Shinto shrine in Japan. I'm all about tech, creativity, and exploring new places.

I've been in the software game for over 15 years now, and it's been quite a ride. I've had the chance to lead teams building all sorts of cool stuff - from web apps to mobile apps, and even those giant screens you see in Times Square. Pretty wild, right?

My coding journey started way back when I was a kid, tinkering with QBasic. I kicked off my career as a Flash developer (remember Flash?), and that really shaped how I approach coding today. I love finding that sweet spot where design, code, and animation come together. To me, software should be more than just functional - it should be fun and engaging too.

I'm a Miami native who ended up at MIT for Computer Science. These days, when I'm not knee-deep in code, I'm usually working on my Japanese (still a work in progress!), messing around with my own app ideas, or planning my next travel adventure. Life's too short to stay in one place, you know?
